I’ll be blogging here on a regular basis. While there will be “every so often” new articles posted by me… well this? This will be different.
This isn’t going to be the kind of blog where I speak glowingly about the latest wedding. I figure if this is going to be a true “underground” site – then speak from the heart to the pro photographers who check in.
I’m hoping it doesn’t turn into a bitch fest for me. It’s not like that. But if I’m having a bad day – I’ll let you know. And when I’m pissed that my camera got wet in the rain – I’ll also let you know.
And maybe in the process we can both learn – or you can be relieved that we all face the same challenges.
For now – I just finished a crazy weekend. If you follow me on Facebook, you’ll know that it was my Birthday yesterday.
I left my house at 11 am to travel from Myrtle Beach to Charleston. I did a wedding in Charleston and finished at 9. Then I traveled five hours to Atlanta to make it to my 10 am wedding.
So basically – I got into my hotel room with about 4 hours to sleep before having to get ready to go out again.
I had help. One of my photographer’s drove while I downloaded. And normally I wouldn’t have pushed it. In other words… I normally wouldn’t have even took the second wedding that early. But the bride is the coordinator for the Atlanta Falcon Cheerleaders – and there was no way I wasn’t going to shoot this thing.
Not complaining… not at all. But exhausted for sure.
