Just got an iPad2 for Christmas. Awesome piece of machinery.
And even better if you’re a photographer.
And I love it – because I get double value since I’m going to use it when I give my talks.
The iPad2 is perfect for presentations – whether you’re proofing your work or you’re displaying.
Ok… this is how it works.
iPad2 – then you need a very cheap attachment for video to a projector and another cable for audio (if you need it).
Of course you need the projector – but if you are presenting somewhere where there is already a projector – you’re golden.
Ok… for other people that are NON-Photographers… they will need to create their display using a slide show program.
But since we already know how to work Photoshop – I’m simply downloading an album and then displaying that album.
But when I say that you don’t need a slide program – basically – I label my presentation by numbers 01, 02, 03… etc.
And if I need to flash a logo or some text – I actually make a 8×10 picture of it.
So it’s pretty simple.
If you already have a iPad2… that’s the start.
From there? To display? It’s a one cord you have to buy to connect to the projector. And another cord if you want sound.
Here they are:
Of course the iPad2 if you don’t already have it:
Then use this to connect to the projector:
If you need sound to go from your iPad to the projector:
